Furniture Sales & Garden Shop Assistant
Full Time Apx. 40 Hours
We currently have a vacancy in our Garden Shop & Furniture Department for a confident, reliable, hardworking & conscientious person to join the team here at Whiteleys.
The position involves:-
* Promoting and selling our extensive range of outdoor garden furniture and indoor oak furniture (Earn additional sales commission
on individual furniture sales).
* Merchandising of stock in our Garden Sundries and Outdoor Living & Furniture Department.
* Advising and assisting customers in-store and handling a wide range of telephone enquiries.
* Processing and co-ordinating customer sales, orders and deliveries and liaising with our suppliers.

Confidence in dealing with the general public is essential and some previous retail sales experience is preferred. Basic garden and plant care knowledge would also be advantageous.

This role is a full time position which will include alternate weekend working with a regular mid-week day off and you may also be required to work additional hours during busy sales periods. Hourly rate of pay dependent upon experience.
