Here at Whiteleys Garden Centre the well-being of our customers and colleagues is always our absolute priority, never more so than now as the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus spreads around the world.
We are stringently following Public Health guidelines very closely and reviewing the regular updates whilst following the national advice and protocols guidelines provide. All our colleagues are being kept fully briefed of the exact health and safety requirements and we are undertaking rigorous measures to ensure the best possible hygiene standards and maintained throughout the centre.
We have already commenced with regular Deep Cleans, with all areas of the centre being misted and cleaned with a food safe and non-toxic cleaner that delivers peace of mind after a single application. These will continue until further notice and are supplemented by a daily disinfection of all surface areas throughout Whiteleys Garden Centre. These measures have already been in place for some time and are in addition to our usual high level approach to cleaning.
Any colleague returning from one of the affected areas, or who has family members/housemates who have been to these regions, have been asked to self-quarantine, in line with the current guidelines and we continue to keep our colleagues fully informed of how the situation progresses.
As we are all aware, the Coronavirus and how it is effecting the UK is an ever changing situation. It is a challenging time and we understand the concern it is causing, but please be assured that we are following all up to date guidelines and are being proactive in all situations to support the health and well-being of our customers and colleagues.
